The national news talking heads tonight were giddy

I haven't watched the national (5:30 PM) news programs in over 15 years but decided to try and watch them tonight to hear their take on the today's speaker ouster.
I was only able to time it to watch two of them, ABC and NBC, and it was sickening. They were giddy reporting the Republican Speaker of the House being "kicked out" as speaker, especially Muir on ABC.
If I hadn't known what actually happened with the House vote today and just went by what the announcers said, I could have come away under the impression that the House Democrats overthrew the Republican majority in a popular revolt, which I guess is what happened.
Once again Republicans make fools out of themselves.
I bet the Dems in DC are partying tonight like it's 1999...

A small vocal minority out of 535 Congressional members in the House and Senate threw a childish temper tantrum and achieved what they wanted.
In the long run this will hurt Republican candidates in swing states who will face the legitimate argument that Republicans are incapable of serious governance.
Unless that is your agenda is to destroy the United States political system.
They are now responsible for all that happens next.
Congratulations.

Absolutely childish behavior by Gaetz and the other MAGA/America First patriots. We must continue on our path of ruination like adults. No need to shake things up, everything is going swimmingly well.
