Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a bill on Wednesday that is intended to protect land from purchase by hostile nations. Do we call China a hostile nation?

If the definition is hostile to the citizens of the United States, the United States government should be tops on that list.

They developed a virus and intentionally unleashed it on us so I’d say that are at the top of the hostile list.

Oh no! How can the states do this without big brother FedGov to make sure Alabama's people are being looked after?

Bill better be very detailed or the Chinese will just buy controlling interest in US investment firms which will then purchase the land

Way to go Governor Ivey! This lady has more balls than a lot of so-called conservatives.

The Montgomery Swampers have to do stuff like this to appease their base to try and cover up the non-sense that they pass ... or don't pass. They deserve having to meet in Montgomery.
... No, I do not oppose preventing land sales to our enemies. But, make no mistake, this is a PR bill. Alabama voters are some of the worst.
