KJ Williams, Justice Hill, and Kendal Coleman would be 3 great starters.

Almost our entire team has hit the transfer portal

Eric Gaines
Mwani Wilkinson
Efton Reid
Alex Fudge
only guys left.

Pick up few of the transfers from Murray State and 3-4 other guys from transfer portal and we may actually have a decent squad with an overall winning record

Gaines
Hill
Wilkinson
Williams
Coleman

Reid and Fudge off the bench. Not terrible

Walk-ons
Parker Edwards
Brandon Egemo
Spencer Mays
Adam Benhayoune

Hill averaged 14 a game last year, Williams averaged 18 a game last year, Coleman averaged 15 a game last year. Reid would be a former 5 star still, and Gaines has untapped potential. Will Richard averaged 12 a game last year too, you must be dense.

Except for the 3 players that averaged 18, 15 and 13 lol. I know players have to translate but strictly by the stats that is a better offensive starting 5 then we had this year and that includes if you put Eason as a starter. Your comment made no sense. I also don’t think the lineup will look like that. I think we will see at least 2-3 more transfers if not more

I don't think the transfers are over. And that does not look like an SEC roster. Arkansas is going to be elite next season.

Eh they might be way too reliant on freshman. Got to see how their roster looks later too

Reid and Fudge should make a lot of progress. Fudge has NBA measurables. Lots of growth between freshman and sophomores

I'm not so sure all 4 of those guys stay. I wouldn't be surprised if Fudge and Reid transfer.

Yeah lineup discussions will be pointless for next couple months. We really have no idea who is coming back and who is coming in at this point

If we are to assume that all 4 of the current scholarship players remaining at LSU stay and they get KJ Williams and DJ Burns (another Murray St. transfer originally from New Orleans), then I think the lineup looks something like this:

Hill
Gaines
Burns or Wilkinson
Fudge
Williams

Bench:
Reid
Coleman
Burns or Wilkinson (whichever doesn't start)
Transfer guard (possibly Richard and/or Hannibal)

I don't think Coleman starts over a developed Fudge. If Fudge doesn't show improvement in the offseason, then you could see him still come off the bench. But his skill level talent has a much higher ceiling than Coleman and he'd be the better compliment to Williams.

I don't see Reid and Williams starting together as both are a 5. Williams has a better outside shot than Reid, but from the videos I've seen, he is still reliant on being a spot up shooter or getting the ball in the lane and muscling or maneuvering in there to get his shot. He is not a shot creator off the bounce, so I'm just not sure how productive I see him and Reid being on the court together. But I also don't see Reid staying at LSU, especially if Williams transfers here.

ETA: Well, nix all that on Reid. Knew I should have checked Twitter before making this post.

No players left. The roster is not an SEC roster. The team next year will struggle and be lucky to win 10 games total next season. That’s the unfortunate truth to all of this.
