I've been watching this show the past week, and am on the sixth season. I think this show is pretty funny for the most part.

Most here either love it or hate it. I'm not sure it's as funny as it once was, but, I am committed now and want to see if my theory of the Mother being Barney's sister is correct.

Typical extremely long sitcom. (assuming you like it) Starts off good, builds to a crescendo of funny after a few seasons, plateaus for a few, and now we're so addicted to it/want to know the story we're sticking around even though it's not as great as it has been. (still funny.. but say 10 is the best season's score.. this one is like a 5-6)

Love it but youre at the peak

Wife and I used to wait for the new episodes until maybe last year when it started getting very repetitive. I think the fact that the entire premise of the show is tied to the culmination of a single event makes viewers feel a bit cheated when they keep moving the goalposts on you.

i enjoy it enough to DVR, and watch every week but it's not in my top 5. barney is fun.

Loved the past seasons. It it's getting old an stuck in the haha we still don't know what who the mother is. Just getting kinda annoying

Also, I agree with most of the posts in this thread. I really enjoyed the first few seasons. Since then, there have been a few hilarious episodes. At this point, however, I'm in it just to figure out who the damn mother is.

Yes. Barney eventually meets his dad and finds out he has a half brother and a half sister.
