So is anyone still doubting how much better the West is?

The Cavs walk through the East, get smoked by role players in the first 2 games and then LeBron and Co need to shoot lights out and have the entire warriors team to be off a night to win a game. Even at full strength the Cavs and KI having a career night can't keep up with the west, even when the West is supposedly down.

Or it was a single digit game during which GS set a record for 3's made and Cle missed 11 free throws. This game could have easily gone the other way.

The top of the West was very good, arguably historically good, but the East closed the gap elsewhere. Injuries hit some teams in the West very hard this past season though.

I honestly think the East got better, but the Cavs also drew some very favorable matchups.

Do we really need to act like this is a thing given who accomplished it?

Posted this the other day.

East playoff teams were 61-67 against west playoff teams. East teams were 6-26 against GS and SA. They were 55-41 against all other west playoff teams,.

Looks like the west was much better at the top and east was deeper overall.
