Whatever is needed to get Bama in the playoffs
Ugly wins/ losses hurt you, unless you are Bama.
Conference Championships matter when Bama wins them. They don’t matter when Bama loses or sits idle
Apparently if you are not Bama and have injured players that also matters to the committee

College Football committee knows where the most consistent and best football is played, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Saban created this and created a lot of haters in the process. But he's the GOAT and the GOAT does GOAT things, wins!

The committee clearly prioritized winning your conference championship. They looked at the champs of the Big 5 and picked who they thought were the 4 best. FSU was their #5.
Bama's strength of schedule was #3 and they just beat Georgia. We'll see if the bowls and playoffs support or refute the committee's decision.

In 2011, Bama’s biggest argument was how great their loss to LSU was

Going forward, committee should state
1. Undefeated record isn’t a lock to get in
2. losing the starting QB affects your eligibility more than what you do on the field
3. Big name school has built in bonus points
4. If a big name school has a loss, it was the inferior version of that school
5. If a big name school goes undefeated, they got in because they are most deserving. If it has 1 loss, they got in because they are one of the best 4 teams.

Whatever the Star Chamber says at any given moment.

They had to have SEC, couldn't take Georgia, by default Bama pulls Texas with them...and FSU is out.
Follow the money, its not rocket science.
