Chimes is number one.
Faculty Club is very good.
Mahoney's makes a good burger.
Barcardia's food is decent + arcade games
Kaminari has cheap sushi buffet at lunch time ($11)
Louie's is an excellent greasy spoon diner
Po'boy time is solid
Inga's makes god sub sandwiches
The philly place is good too, but expensive
Raul's burgers are awesome
Atcha bakery makes a good gyro for cheap
La Salvadorina is an authentic latin american choice

South side:
Fat cow is solid
Drunken Fish is good
Plucker's has good wings
Waka House is excellent
Canefield tavern's not bad
Your Mom's is alright
Walk-On's is mediocre
Mellow Mushroom is good for slow, overpriced pizza
Akasha Express makes a solid Burger
AM Mart is the GOAT cheap sub (cajun turkey with pepperjack cheese)

They must have improved the menu since the last time I've been.

Wow... It's been 20+ years since I've graduated from LSU. Glad to know this tradition still lives on for the next generations.

Too bad you all missed the Silver Moon.

Walk Ons gets a bad rep around here.

It's nowhere on the list of fine dining, but it's not the worse thing in the world.

It is what it is. Nothing wrong with a beer and a burger from there.
