What will it take for you to be excited about football next season?

I will be excited regardless of what this offseason brings. I will be much more excited if we get someone to come in and have control of the offense.
I would love to see a tight end show up in our offense as well.
I would never trade in my P&G, but a good bit of folks on here are freakin out and I think they have a right to be disappointed and a change needs to happen if we are gonna keep pace in the SEC. We have the talent, we need the scheme.

A few weeks of basketball season will have me missing football pretty quick.

Well prepare yourself to not be very excited.
And to answer your question a coach that will dominate and put teams away when the opportunity is there instead of curling up in the fetal position and sticking their finger in their ear.

I top 3 recruiting class which includes one of the jucos, solid spring game, and a big win over tcu.

Great team as in a 10-3 team that doesn't win the West?

About seven months without it. I'm pretty depressed right now, but I'm sure at some point during the summer doldrums and waning days of August, I'll get hyped up.

A more innovative offensive philosophy. Of course this will not happen with the same people calling the plays..

There is only one answer here - new offensive staff that brings in a new system.

New head coach. Or speed option to short side of the field on third and long

Ya never know. I think last year we were all saying, " wait til Mett plays". Not this year, we need to change something.

Miles to come out and say " I'm giving the reins of the offense to the OC from now on."
Then I'll be as stoked as we should be.

An actual OC that Les will let run the offense. Other then that, I'm always excited for LSU football. But after this year I have no expectations. 2011 and 2012 I had expectations of a NC. 2013 I have no idea and don't care to predict one and be dissapointed.
