Does Mike the Tiger's cage still sit outside the opponent's entrance?

He's there, at the opponent's entrance, when the team comes out to warm up. He's not in the stadium by the time the teams come back onto the field for game time.

Mike gets in his cage when he want to... If they can't get him in he doesn't come out.

Not true for the Arkansas game... Mike and the cage were their when Arkansas came out for game time.

Pretty sure he stays until the team runs out for gametime.

Yep, that's the standard protocol. They bring him back to the big cage after the opponent runs out to start the game.

My daughter's HS classmate was the punter for Florida. He said he's never been more scared than having to squeeze between the wall and the cage/trailer.
Apparently, the driver parks "too close to the wall".

They leave him out until both teams come out for game time and that cannon scares the shite out of him when LSU comes out of the tunnel

@BiteMe, you're correct. We walked in the tunnel just after kickoff (of course, daughter has to "potty" and makes me miss it), and they were taking him out of the stadium.
