Found this stat to be almost unbelievable. After the Kentucky game, they will be at .500. Other interesting stats that I just read are....

LSU has been ranked for 37 straight weeks.

LSU has been ranked in 81 of 83 games that LES MILES has coached.

LSU is 220-60-4 in night game at TS since 1960.

LSU is 14-3 all time when ranked #1 by the AP poll.

We are in the most dominant 10 year stretch of football ever for LSU. I hope everyone appreciates just how special OUR school is and that we are lucky to have a classy coach in Les Miles.

Modern history has seen LSU play its best opponents in the CBS day game. That's part of the formula.

Fortunately we're playing Kentucky. I'm pretty conservative in my predictions when it comes to SEC games, but we shouldn't have any problems with this one. About the only thing I can see is maybe coming out flat and allowing UK to say in the game through the first half. But no matter what, in the end: a Tiger win. I'm thinking 31-7.

you should consider reading some more papers online. The Advocate is not a very great newspaper for a state capitol city

2007 at home to Arky, right?

Thanks again, WVU to dropping the Big East title game to PITT!

Right - that's almost like saying LSU is 24-25-3 against ranked opponents in day home games, which ain't too shabby.

C.B.S. should have the regular 2:30 game plus a prime-time game EVERY Saturday night.

Boy oh boy, don't get me started on the day game BS and all the obedient drones that defend and support it.

One of the reasons we have such a decided advantage at night is because of television. Our harder games have generally been day games.

Les going 81 of 83 weeks ranked is outstanding. He is well on the way to being regarded as our best coach ever. It is funny that the "hate Les Miles" crew continues to exist.

I'm more shocked that over the past 51 years we've only played 52 day games.

Then again, I guess that's more of a new thing with TV contracts.

I draw one conclusion from this. We are about to move the day game record back to .500.
