Valpraiso fan..you need to go find another board to hang out on. A Tiger and a Duck in a fight, who do you think will win?

One of these days it will dawn on you that these feelings you have are absolutely meaningless.

I'm feeling it too. I think Oregon will not be prepared enough for what General Lee and the Tigers will do to them.

Everyone needs to calm down. This is not the first time to play in the venue. We win by 20 and prepare for the next game. This is simply a slight early vacation for the fans. Tigers roll tomorrow.

I have a very strong feeling just like you. Maybe it's just optimism but I get this feeling when I'm certain we will win. I didn't have this before Auburn last year and I didn't have it before Arkansas. I DID before Alabama and Florida though. I just....I know we are going to win this game!

I feel the same way. I think we're going to come out and be the lsu of '07. Demolishing Va. Tech comes to mind.

I was irritating some duck fans last night...

quote:

Here's what you duckies don't understand... When the tiger players are feeling it, we are a team of bad-arse muthers that just destroy people. We've been waiting 4 years for our players to feel it, but it hasn't been there and it has been terribly frustrating for us fans. Now, we can see that they've got their mojo, and we're all pumped. Your ducks don't have anything that can stand up to sheer will. After this game you are going to look back at the MNCG and think Auburn was a bunch of pussies. It's going to get ugly. I hope you don't suffer too many injuries.
quote:

I am flat out telling you that your ducks are going to get trashed. It doesn't matter that your ducks are as talented as the tigers. It doesn't matter that you've worked hard. It doesn't matter how badly your team wants to win. We are still going to trash you. By the end of the game you are going to think a voodoo priest in New Orleans cursed you because everything will seem to go our way. Your team is going to be so demoralized that they will take a week or two to recover. At least you'll get an early TD because someone is going to be too pumped and get out of position. After that it will be a beat down. You have no Earthly idea what's coming. Just don't get down on your team. You guys are good. It's just going to be a bad day for you.

I agree with you overall, but we brought it in the Cotton Bowl. I am getting the same feeling, like we're going to have that "Virginia Tech" moment at the beginning of 2007.

All of the distractions kind of died down just in time for the kids to focus on Oregon - they've been preparing for this game since the Cotton Bowl prep time.
