Obviously, I expect the offense will take a step back, but still be good not amazing like this year.

Wide receivers will be super young, but the running back room should be one of the better ones in the SEC.

Defense again will be the question mark. I can’t imagine we’d be worse than this year.

lot of ?

going to have to rebuild the secondary for a 3rd year in a row.

add a good transfer, hopefully Alexander is back healthy and JK Johnson can contribute and the freshmen too.

DL is a huge ?????

It's hard for me to say we'll be better right now. I have full confidence in Nuss but to expect him to play at Jayden's level is unrealistic. Losing top 2 WRs, no depth at CB, no depth at DL. A lot of unknowns

I guess I’m spoiled but it’s going to be an adjustment not having a quarterback who can routinely scramble for 40-50 yards.

And that is not a knock on Nussmeier.

Defense better - a lot of young talent that wasn't ready this season. If the DC can get them coached up and that's an if, they should be much better than this season. It won't take much to improve at this point.

Offense not near as good - JD turned into a generational player this year. Nabers leads CFB in yards and BTJ in TD catches. I don't expect either back. Diggs? Does he return? We may be replacing 80-90% of our offensive production.

Our defense without a doubt should be better. Only because nothing can be worse than this year
