Don’t think I’ve ever seen refs completely take over a game of this magnitude

Typically by a national championship game refs won’t call games as tight as they would a game in November. This game they are calling a foul anytime a hand gets close to an offensive player.
When all the stars have 2 fouls by early 2nd qtr, the refs may need to rethink what they’re doing.

Their terrible first half might be a plus in the 2nd half because you'd think they'd understand to not foul out the stars. If they swallow the whistle in the 2nd half that's a big plus for us.

In spite of refs, that was an exciting first half. I am glad to see them call the Caitlin stiff arms and push offs. More could be called on the picks as well. Arms and elbows are out blocking like football. Especially the big center.

I am enjoying this game, but it reminds me why I quit watching or attending basketball games at any level. The ref's take over the game & think they are the reason why people pay good money to go to games. Watching people shoot free throws is not my idea of fun.
