Our boys dropped their 1st L of the szn. Hope to rebound Sunday vs. Hogs.

The home games are over for 2023. The boys close our the regular szn on the road then likely have to play all conference tourney games in TX (unless they beat SMU).
If they win the LSA = AQ to the MCLA National Championship tourney in Round Rock.

If they can take down SMU & somehow compete with the hippies from Austin--that would be a huge boost heading into the conference playoffs.

Can they play duke uva etc? This is one sport I know nothing about.

Those are D1 programs. MCLA is a club sports league
However MCLA is very competitive and some teams like Michigan have made the jump to D1 based on their success in MCLA

Not without a fully sponsored move from MCLA to D1 by way of about a $10-$15M commitment, that would also likely need to boost the women's club team from WCLA to D1 as well.
The well known assumption is that as soon as the SEC goes all in on mlax & wlax - the lacrosse landscape will absolutely dominate the sport across the region.

Very bummed out that I missed this final weekend. Lacrosse season sure comes in hot then finishes up in a hurry.
I hope I am around long enough to see lacrosse at LSU move into NCAA D1 & play in the soccer stadium or its own top notch facility someday.
