I give props to a team effort and resilience of this team. But, 24 Bernard Converse was all over 7 Brooks for Bama and saved at least 10 throws. Breakups. Hell of a game by him. Also, 92 Wingo pushed that center all over the field. It's great to see us pushing there a$$e$ all over the field. Props to STs to. Just a complete victory for LSU.. GEAUX TIGERS!!

Agreed.
One thing that jumped out was picking up the flag on the personal foul on Daniel's slide.
There was clear fricking physical contact because there's no way Daniel's head would have slammed to the turf like it did without it.

He has been so good for us. Especially considering our #1 DT got hurt the first 5 mins of game 1. Wingo has really stepped up. So glad we still have him next year.

Watched the replay and concur. Not taking anything away from our guys but the Bama OL does not seem as intimidating as years past. Some of their lines were absolutely ridiculous.

Bernard-Converse had a great game. And Williams 27 was everywhere. On one long Daniels run from the pocket watch Williams go out straight right as an outlet for a pass if needed, then he comes into the picture way downfield during the Daniels run to help block. The kid will play on Sunday. But the downfield blocking by everyone is unbelievalble and I think that's coaching and paying attention to details. That's the Kelly effect for sure.

I'm glad they picked it up. Daniels waited too long to slide. The defender was already loading for the hit when Daniels started, and there is no way to stop that at that point.
I'm glad they are protecting QBs now, but they have gotten ridiculous. If the QB wants the protection of the rules he needs to slide in time.

He pretty much missed him. Minimal contact with the facemask caused the head movement. I think it is the way that should be called, or actually, no called, TBH.
If it had been called a PF it would probably meet the letter of the law, though. I have seen more contact not called and also seen just as incidental, maybe less, called.
