The one good thing is that if WVU gets in, SEC teams are gonna be forced to play in cold weather.

adding UT and OU makes your conference pretty damn impressive, no matter where you start from.

pac16 would be a clear #2 conference and in the same vicinity as SEC for #1. i think this is good for everyone.

VT or FSU.

I'm not sold on the ACC being locked down.

Wv culture is very different than the culture of ky fwiw. Wv is basically hillbilly culture throughout. That can only be said for a very small percentage of Kentuckys population and even less of UKs active fan base. The vast majority live west of I75. I do think Wv is a decent fit overall.

Prepare to be ridiculed for bringing up teams that currently have 10 million less buyout than A&M had whenever they started negotiations.

WVU is a good option and I think ACC teams have a less chance currently but I dont think those chances are completely gone.

did A&M's own president vote for the raising of the buyout?

Even with 16 teams and the best of 2 leagues they'll still have less than half the # of BCS titles of the SEC. Texas and OU are good adds but they'll have to take on OSU and TT to get them, which negates a lot of the good imho.

At least the Southeastern Conference is trying to stay somewhat true to its name.

1 year ago whenever they re upped with the Big 12....I agree that chances of getting VT or FSU seem slim, but I dont think they are completely gone yet. The culture of the ACC is changing to a full on basketball conference which is the opposite of where the money is and the opposite of the cultures of FSU and VT

The tamu exit fee is going to be the ballpark of $15M. $20M isn't insurmountable.

Yes, Don't anoint WV as 14th if it is not done and has not been announced. B/c it is not done and it has not been announced.

Might be surprised!

Yep and its started at 30 mill. What would have been the point of FSU or VT voting no. Their votes werent going to change anything and would have created ill will if they did decide to leave and negotiate it down
