LSU just dominated one of your best teams in the past several years. What makes you think we are scared?

I really hope that he is successful. WV is a beutiful state as far as scenery and the mountains. Pretty good skiing and fly fishing too.

By allowing alcohol to be served during games? The only thing he has in his mind is bringing in more money.

as far as O.L. allowing beer sells....at 8 or 9 bucks a pop...WV fans cant afford to get drunk and it did away with re-entry policy which does away with binge drinking

They do a pretty good job of it outside the stadium. Probably moonshine and Natty Lites.

Until college football gets a playoff it will continue to play second fiddle to the NFL on a national scale. Stop selling me on exhibition bowl games and a "better" regular season. Now college football (without a playoff) is putting long standing rivalries in jeopardy. The idea that "super"conferences will get us closer to a playoff is a myth. The conferences have been backstabbing each other for decades...working together with leadership and the overall improvement of college football as a top priority needs to happen (but it won't).

If WVU does get into the SEC, there should be a TAMU-WVU rivalry. Then they could claim moral victories against each other every year.

No

When you hire someone for a job or ask someone to join your group you want someone who will add something that you don't currently have. West Virginia with all do respect brings nothing to the table that will make the conference stronger.

I would like to see WV in the SEC even though you screwed up and chose the wrong side back in 1860. If it was up to me, I would take WV before Mo.

We had a huge conversation about this on our board. Most WVians consider themselves southerners. The problem in 1863 was that all the power in the state was in Wheeling. When the vote came to decide what side to choose, some counties didn't even return any votes. Most of these counties were rural southern counties that definitely would have sided with the south. Soldiers were split right about 50/50 for union vs confederacy and that's mainly due to the union draft. All the history books say is that we were officially part of the union. They don't state the real facts
