We have a ten year, 5 million per school, per year contract to play Aggy in Jerry World.

So as far as one SEC school is concerned, it doesn't matter either way.

We get the Texas exposure regardless. But I think at this point we are only days, if not hours, from welcoming A&M.

from what I gathered, The SEC can wait and work out the details of adding an eastern team at a later date.

1 - Who the hell is John Taylor?

2 - How exactly does Texas A&M "pursue" the SEC if the SEC isn't interested?

3 - texas university wants nothing to do with the "gomer, redneck" SEC.

4 - "But, not after it was determined they [Texas A&M] could actually deliver the TV goods [Dallas & Houston markets] and would add something to the conference."
Is this for real? Who the hell/which SEC AD actually said that?

Texas A&M University can indeed add something "substantial to the pie."

Probably Vanderbilt or Ms. St., one of the smaller schools who don't bring that much in.

A&M has so many Alumni, I can't imagine they could not bring an economic advantage to the SEC

Texas fans, who think that A&M is on par with the Techs and Baylors of the world.
