okie lite guy on rivals w/ connections saying the KU stuff. he says big 12 is done.

I haven't heard anything like that, but good for them. They need anything they can get right now.

They're starting to realize basketball isn't as important as they thought.

It may not be recognizable, but as long as OU and TX stick together, they will be able to cobble together a conference. It's gonna cost them some bucks though.

they will probably lose their TV contract. St.Louis and KC markets are critical for the Big12.

screw it all Alabama schools to the east. The West is the west and the east is the east and Alabama is east.

IF Mizzou goes to the West, easiest transition is to move Bama and Auburn to the East and Vandy to the West. Geographically works, and just make Vandy/UT their permanent if those are kept.

The West will be weaker by losing a top tier team in Bama for Vandy, but A&M can be as good as Auburn, and Mizzou will be a USCe level team in general.

The SEC will never allow both Auburn and Alabama to move to the East. LSU will have a clear path to Atlanta for the foreseeable future.

Not only that but you'd have Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Auburn all in the same division.

Ain't gonna happen son.

Exactly. The six traditional powers will still have to be seperated to some extent. It will be unbalanced with Auburn going to the East but we will have to live with it. The league wanted the six powers seperated in each division back in 1991 to make things more even. That is why Auburn ended up in the West. In case you are wondering the six traditional powers of the SEC are LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, & Tennessee. Take a look at the history of the conference especially in the BCS era and you will see that this was very intelligent thinking on their parts. All of them have won national titles except UGA.

Yeah but she is full of herself and getting a bit soft. Go for the pretty girl while you still got the chance!
