Great observation.

For one, I don't see UF opposing FreeShoesU out of fear, but like you stated, out of not wanting them to benefit from an SEC affiliation.

I don't think the SEC is looking to add any team that is going to upset any existing member. I doubt Slive would look to push a team through to get minimum required votes. I think he wants this to be very clean.

really starting to think WVU ends up being the 14th school.

would love to get VT but i think they are officially tied to the hip with uva now.

I have a hard time believing LSU would be that worried about Florida...Hell, they should be more worried about A&M. If they are in the SEC, recruiting Texas just got much harder. The only way LSU joins the agreement is if it benefits us and adding TAM doesn't help us.
