When A&M doesn't cheat they don't win. It is that simple. In the modern era of football, every brief period of Aggie success has been followed by major NCAA penalties, without fail.

Statements like this are puzzling to me, especially from someone with 2,000+ posts on a college football board. I love college football. I am proud graduate of the University of Texas. I donate to the athletic department so I do feel like a small cog in a very big machine. Do I look down my nose at Aggies. Oh yes, and after you travel to College Station and see their bizarre traditions and mannerisms, you will too.....

Regarding A&M's recruiting, its not like we pulling in 30-40 ranked classes.

We consistently pull in top 20 talent, hell, we would have had a top 10 class this past season until two last min. defections (one to lsu, one to OU)

For all of the skeptics saying the recruiting wont make that big of a difference, thats fine, it doesnt have to be a dramatic difference. Liek I said, we land two more 4 stars last year, we have a top ten class.

AND we are recruiting like that after two strait sub 500 seasons. Whats going to happen when we get our shite together and adjust to the SEC game and actually start winning some games?

like I have said before, the sky is the limit. Not to say that we will reach our potential, but there are no external factors holding us back.

Texas A&M football has struggled over the past decade--no one would begin to argue that. And our down years materialized during a time when the ladies from Austin were at the top of their game. But your attempts at turning a snapshot in history into some sort of permanent characterization are misguided.

Keep repeating your tired meme, though. It's an understandable defense mechanism.
