We had our first home football game after the 9/11 attacks. Fans on texags.com organized a "Red, white, blue out." I think about 95% of these kinds of these are retarded, but this one was awesome. They even had spare shirts outside Kyle Field on game day to sell to the OSU fans.
They raised $180,000 which went to the NYC police and fire departments’ relief funds.

I was there, but didn't get the memo and was wearing maroon. You can probably see my dad and I on the first deck. We felt like jackasses.

ten years and two days ago, South Carolina and Mississippi State took the field together in the first football game post 9/11/01. 'Cocks won.

Your blue is struggling

The west side south endzone (right) is where the visiting fans sit. Anyone in blue there would have bought a shirt on the way into Kyle and changed. Since I've graduated, they started having the entire Corps of Cadets sit in one block, and they were all in uniform (left).
Like I said, I think that about 95% of all things organized on the internet are lame, but this one wasn't. The entire thing was done in about eight days, and the shirts were sold by the printers at cost so that all proceeds would go to NYC.
