Since the contracts were signed TCU is moving from CUSA, to the Mt. West, thur the Big East, to the Big 12. A&M has now been added to the SEC West.

What are the chances these scheduled games still happen?

2013 TCU @LSU
2014 LSU @TCU
2015 TCU @Arkansas
2016 Arkansas @TCU

TCU is playing their first real conference schedule in 20 years.

Zero chance that Gary Patterson plays real teams like LSU and Arkansas.

Arkansas will want to keep those games.

When A&M joins, we are losing our one decent OOC game. Its becoming a conference game.

We'll take it if we can play them.

I think A&M coming in means we'll most likely play Texas a little more often, too. Just because we will need that one good OOC game.

Texas is good by name only . I don't see them improving in the next 2-3 years. Too deep of problems

There is a zero percent chance that Gary Patterson buys his way out of a contract for a game. Zero.

Arkansas has bought their way into pushing these games back already. If they don't like what they see as far as a possible L on the schedule, they'll continue to push it back or buy it out.

LSU will play the game. No question, no matter whether TCU is looking strong or not.

TCU is putting up 45 pts a game with a redshirt sophomore QB and a team that is 2/3rds composed of players that have 2 or 3 years of eligibility left after this season. Oh and they won the Rose Bowl before they were able to tell recruits they were in a BCS conference.

TCU is reloading this year. Next year will be better. 2013 will be a good year.

We pushed TCU and Texas both back after we added A&M to our OOC schedule.

Our SOS is top 5 the last 5 years anyway.

What's years was the home and home originally supposed to be?

We played at Austin in 2008. We had a return trip scheduled for Fayetteville in 2009, but that was the year we started our Southwest Classic with A&M, so we pushed it back.

I think we were scheduled originally with TCU in '11 and '12, home and home.

Having an annual neutral site OOC kinda threw a wrench in it, especially since we already send two games to Little Rock.

But the reason we pushed the Texas and TCU games back was A&M.

Now that A&M becomes conference, and we drop another eastern division game off to accomodate A&M, we'll put those games back on our schedule.

Makes sense to me.

I feel like Arkansas begins an OOC game with OU to replace the A&M one. I think Arkansas loves the brand exposure, and knocking off OU here and there could do wonders for them. TCU? Who cares. Seriously it made sense when they were a hot shot mid-major it would have been an easy win for strength of schedule. But do you really want to waste a road game on what TCU is going to be in the Big XII? Which in my mind is essentially a step below Tech, and a step above Baylor? Stupid.

I think TCU has been playing 8 conference games in the MWC and will now play 9 in the Big XII. In that case, they will have to get rid of a non-conference game, and might want to get out of those games. But, it also might be that they have non-conference games scheduled for those years with Big XII members, so they might not need to get out of any OOC games. They could just have their already-scheduled game with, for example, Baylor be a conference game instead of a non-conference game.

From the LSU/Arkansas perspective, unless the SEC goes to 9 conference games, which it seems none of the powers that be want to do, there'd be no reason to make changes in OOC schedules.

I seriously doubt that UTexas will allow those games to remain on TCU's schedule.

I could see this happening, but I could just as easily see a TCU matchup.

I don't think we will do a long term contract with anyone OOC like we did with A&M a few years ago.

Texas doesn't want an OOC game with us that is every year. OU would be fun, but doesn't do a lot for us.

TCU at least once in a while gives us another DFW game and we have a lot of alumni there who like having a game closeby.

If the A&M/Arkansas game goes home&home, (which I believe it will) then I expect we'll play in DFW as much as we possibly can.

I think we will keep the arkie and a&m game in dallas. We all hate it, but the dallas market needs an SEC game. It pulls recruits and keeps kids interested locally.
