Very simple, no conference will play more than nine conference games.

All of this discussion is useless anyways, Bama will not give up the UT game and the SEC will do whatever necessary to make it happen. So as long as Bama keeps UT and au, no problems.

So you think they only rotate two on the other side to offset? I still think we add another game in the conference and this is how the college football world is moving.

You would have to move to the east, and I doubt that happens.

Most of these people care about CFB

Houston, St. Louis and Kansas City are somewhere in the area of 12.5 million

Most of these do not. And many of those that do likely follow legit teams like OU, Texas, or Nebraska. You know, the teams that actually appear on TV because they're worth a damn.

Hey dumbass...

I mentioned a way for Tenn and Bama to continue the rivalry on a yearly basis, but evidently you're too dumb enough to realize it. You want to talk about the sharpest tool in the shed? It isn't you...

Would very much prefer the east, but I too don't think it will happen, unless it's the only way to keep those games.

Houston absolutely cares about college football. And aTm has a huge fanbase throughout all of Texas, so I don't know why we're just discussing Houston. Go ahead and consider all metro-Texas areas in play with them in the SEC.

Unlikely to happen and unlikely you keep both games.

Vandy or UK could move west, or we could play more league games.

The idea about playing Tennessee OOC when we aren't scheduled by the SEC to play them is a good one, but I don't know if that's legal.

It is asinine stupid to have a forking conf. set up with rivals in the opposite division. That is about as retarded as anything can get.

And hope it doesn't happen but if a&m and missouri join the SEC why not add them to the west and move alabama and au to the east. Then move say kentucky to the west?

Impressive vocabulary, is this your "go to" phrase?

Oh yes, you have a truly unique idea there. Play them out of conference. HAHAAHA... will not happen. Bama will play UT in conference games, end of story.

Ending the current divisions is stupid. Ending a single rivalry responsible for the current constants is not.

if that's what it takes I don't think it'd be too bad

just don't count the game in the league standings.

It is what the other LSU fan has been advocating the whole thread.

Bama UT will not play as non conference opponents while in the same conference.... will not happen.

You say this like it could even be possible. It's too late for this, I'm done.
