They played last year I think they agreed to 4 year series, I wish VT would man up and play WVU again going on 6 years since we played and both fan bases despise each other still

one thing that many fail to realize is, its WV academics that is holding it back. Not their sports program.
Much like boise will never ever ever get into a BCS league with that POS they call a school and its atrocious academic record.
In no way am I implying WV is like boise in the academic arena, as WVU is a million times better school, just pointing out that both are held back much by the same thing. Boise also has fan support issues too.
Overall in the whole expansion process, I dont think people on here are putting enough emphasis on academics.

The school its self is not bad academically at all, the standards for in state kids to get in are so low so every resident in the state has the chance to get a higher education which in a state like wv is something lots of people might not be able to do

If we had to pick up two (for whatever reason...be it loss of two teams or getting to 14), I would favor Pitt and WVU. UCONN or Rutgers are distant third/fourths.
