against any champ from these revised conferences.
It doesn't matter.

When you get too many teams, it will be difficult to manage and how do you handle the smaller sports - how do you have a baseball tournament?

We might be fine as we are for another year or two, but think in terms of five or ten years down the road. We must be proactive.

I tend to agree. If we by chance we do get A&M that is fine; add one more for 14 and we are still OK. The problem is the Pac 16 is going to ask for 2 auto BCS bids for each half of their conference which I don't agree with but unfortunately it's probably going to happen. They still won't have a conference championship so it will really be like two conferences with the TV money weight of one.

You can't be unwilling to change when the world is changing around you. This is a fine opportunity to strengthen the SEC for the future. It's foolish to think that just because the SEC is the powerhouse today that it will continue to be the powerhouse tomorrow when we refuse to change.

I would agree with this if it weren't for one variable unaccounted... The television/viewing market and number of games within. That's a major factor. Larger in terms of population and area means more money.
