A revived border war? Really? We've played like 5 times in 100 years.

And talking about civil war battles where Yankee Missourians killed southerners won't get you very far here.

Eat shite and GTFO.

Nobody wants you.

It was a long time ago. Water under the bridge, right?

But, wouldn't it really suck if it happened again?

Was that to me? I didn't say anything negative about Mizzou. If they join, they join.

And would I like LSU's chances to beat Mizzou right now? I'd throw down large on that matchup.

My Tigers would kill yours.

You really think that is why? You really believe that you can step on the same field as us?

We don't want you because we prefer teams that will compete and fit our conference standards. Mizzou will just lay down, and submit....you better learn to play defense or we will be scrapping your remains off the gridiron.

Yes. Because 1978 is SO relevant.

"Hell to the no" because you are too far north and you'd be a drag to the conference.

And your smack talk is lame.

I can now give some background as to why the SEC targeted FSU.

Slive and the suits at the SEC office believe Fisher has the Seminoles on an upward path. It was noted that FSU soundly beat two SEC east teams last season, UF and USCe.

Taking in FSU weakens the ACC presence in the state of Florida. The SEC was not happy with a situation where the ACC had two teams in Florida to the SEC's one.

So now you know the rest of the story.

Very good point. I'll take A&M and FSU and move on!

This! Mizzou would be an awful addition to the SEC. The SEC needs to add A&M and FSU and call it a day

That's just classless, Arkansas fan.

I guess you mean when we came into Arkansas after you spent over a year invading Missouri, right?

STFU! The border war was meant to be something to potentially look forward to referring to football matchups. Pea Ridge symbolizing a history between the two states. I guess I could talk about Wilson's Creek in Springfield, MO or Lexington, MO to point to southern Arkansas aggressors.

I guess that's where you immediately go. Back to the Civil War...back to 150 years ago. I guess you remember it clearly and still have much resentment towards the state of Missouri.

God you're an idiot. Not surprising though. All you have to do is simply cross the border into Arkansas to witness the cultural change.

Exactly. This is one reason why Mizzou is not coming to the SEC.

Listen, shitfrick. You brought up the Civil War.

You referred to a "revived border war", as if an AR/MO border war has ever existed in any way, shape or form.

I agree cultural change is evident when you cross the AR/MO border. Driving south on 71/540 into Bella Vista/Bentonville, you leave the hillbilly/titty bar/liquor store paradise of SW MO, and immediately enter wealthy, suburban America.

Seriously, GTFO.

Missouri was a slave state. Therefore, it fits the SEC motif of historical persecution of black people.

Seriously, St. Louis and KC would become SEC TV markets, where the SEC syndication deal could expand. Big cities = more TV's = more money for the conference.

I'm no fan of Mizzou, but if we're gonna expand, do we really want to add nothing but BMW's? We NEED a few Hyundais on the schedule. Mizzou is a Hyundai, but it actually has a couple hot chicks in the back seat.

I hate to admit it, but I love busey. I did the bus, too.

You made my point clear. But, I still hope we get the invite. Then we can drag your conference down with our awful play and annoy you with our lame smacktalk more often.

I wish.

Funny.

Why not bring TCU to the SEC instead of Missouri? They bring a bigger media market and a better football team.

TAMU and FSU are outstanding additions.

Thinking longterm on Clemson, seems to me that they could become very competitive. Clemson has shown abilities to recruit in the past and coming to the SEC would improve that.
