Well I'll tell you like I tell pretty much everyone else, don't hold your breath about that crystal ball leaving the Plains.

Dont worry, I'm not. Whether it's taken away or not, it doesn't change the fact that only one undefeated team in the top 2 at the end of the year was playing without a hired gun, and it isn't a team from the great state of Alabama. No matter what, your title will always be tainted and in doubt. That title is as empty as the crystal football that represents it.

So do you think anyone not from the SEC west plays more than 2 or 3 big games a year?

Oregon, WV, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas...yeah

whatever helps you sleep at night. Anything you type here can easily by phased out by the sparkling beauty of that crystal football.

But enjoy that Rose Bowl victory.

What part of "not from the SEC West" did you fail to understand?

I'll even add Florida to that list since they have FSU in addition to SC, Alabama, and LSU. I'll also add Georgia since they have SC, Florida, Miss St, Georgia Tech, and Boise (though two of those are unranked/barely ranked). I'll also add Tennessee since they happened to draw LSU and Arkansas this year...

Aww hell, that's most of the SEC East, so in retract my statement about just the SEC west and expand it to the SEC in general.

The difference between an SEC schedule and the schedules of other BCS schools is huge. The difference between other BCS schedules and non-BCS ones is minimal if it exists at all (by non-BCS I mainly mean Boise and the Mountain West schools pre-raid).

It's kind of like getting the second highest grade on a test legitimately, while someone else got the highest while cheating. Even though their grade might stick, you still know you were the best in the class on that occasion. I sleep fine, and I am enjoying the Rose Bowl Victory because it's much more gratifying to win legitimately. Your trophy means nothing and until it's taken away, it cheapens everyone else's AFCA trophies. Anyone that is proud of that is devoid of integrity.

Actually I'm really not. I'll take finishing second to a cheater over finishing first by way of cheating any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. I also know for a fact that TCU will always have our Rose Bowl Trophy in our trophy case, but y'all will possibly have to give that crystal football back one day.

We went 13-0

Y'all likely will have gone 0-14 when it's all said and done. Haha!

Some Alabama fan will probably reprint this shirt with 0-14 instead of 14-0 with the words "National Champions" deleted.

It's come to my attention that the best way to deal with you might just be an endless stream of U Mad? pictures.

Oh no, don't do that. I'll just stop checking the thread and our fun little combo will come to an end.

What is the AFCA going to do with the trophy after they take it? Smash it? Melt it?

Continue to laugh at TCU for thinking they're a "big boy"

Yeah, good one. So I guess that means Auburn was a little boy along with TCU from 1958 until 2010, because in that entire span they didn't finish higher than TCU did last season. And that streak only ended with the use of a paid player. Great job!

We've had more success in that span than TCU could ever dream of.

Are you two figs done congratulating/fellating each other yet?

I was being facetious, because your statement was idiotic. The reigning Rose Bowl champs, who have finished in the top 7 the past three season and has the third longest streak of being ranked, is small time? You know nothing about college football beyond the SEC. You've proven that.

As far as success of programs, Auburn has absolutely had more success since the 1950s than TCU has. There's no arguing that, which is why I never stated that. I simply said that if TCU is small time right now, as the team that finished #2 and won the Rose Bowl, then by pure logic, any team that didn't do that well was also playing small time football in that year. It's simple deduction if we are to assume that your moronic statement is true, which is why the end result of applying that logic is idiotic.

As far as dreaming of the level of success that Auburn had at any point from 1958-2009, TCU has dreamed of it and more. Our 2010 season is at least comparable to your 2004 season, whether you want to admit it or not. The only time Auburn has exceeded the level of success of the AU 2004 team and the TCU 2010 team was their own 2010 team, which did it with a player that was likely being paid. If Newton had been declared ineligible prior to the SEC championship, or if Auburn had been forced to forfeit their games that he had played in, TCU would have played Oregon for the championship. In the prior year, TCU was 1 second away from playing Alabama in the championship. So yes, we can dream not only of success at the level Auburn had from 1958 to 2003 but we've had more in the past 2 if not 3 years (sorry, I shouldve been saying until 2003 all along, since AUs 2004 season is analogous to our 2010 season).
