big east may not have one in 2014. if ou is stuck in the bevo 9, it will always have a bcs birth.
if the bevo 9 does eventually cave, tcu would always get an invite from whatever conference is trying to step up to steal that bcs birth left open

Houston is the best fit for what's left of the big XII, IMO.
Replaces a&m market area (a little), lots of offense and zero defense, would leap at the opportunity, good recruiting ground.
TCU would also work, but they have their Big East baggage...

So after all this Texas is going to end up with the least attractive part of the SWC plus most of the least attractive half of the old Big 8.
