Okie Doke should've jumped to the Pac when they had a chance last year.

Agreed. I think this might spark a firestorm of mad. It'll be great fun to watch.

Oklahoma's mistake was not realizing the Pac 12 really wanted Texas, not them.

Mizzou knows the SEC needs #14 sooner or later whereas the Pac 12 is willing to wait an eternity to get Texas.

so basically..

MU's Chancellor, Brady Deaton, has just stepped down as Big 12 Board Chairman. The curators voted unanimously to grant him full power to explore options in other conferences. He said he would do so expeditiously.

But...but...why don't Arkansas, Nebraska, Colorado, A&M and now Mizzou want to be in the Bevo conference?

Because A&M wants out of their "shadow"?

Oh ok.

It's a formality. Give it a week and he'll send the Bovine 9 a letter that Mizzou is out. Give it another week and the SEC will announce that it has received and approved an application from Mizzou to become the SEC's 14th member.

My only question is will Ken Starr make a "Save the Border War" website?

I'm kinda surprised this board isn't blowing up right now like it did after the aTm "granting of full authority" presser. The pro-SEC Mizzou folk should be flocking over here to improve relations with their possible new conference mates.

Alright folks.. I'm outta here.

Adios until the Ken Starr presser tomorrow.

I'm sure he'll produce the blue dress soon.
