It's a strong indication that they aren't unified regardless of the direction they choose.

I'm on the fence on whether I'd be happy with Mizzou in the SEC...it's a good add as far as expanding TV markets with St. Louis & KC, but they don't really fit the SEC culture & climate. I still have some warming up to do to the potential of a Mizzou/SEC union.

If you thought Knoxville, Nashville, Fayetteville or Lexington was cold in November.. Just wait until it literally snows in Columbia and not dusting either.
This is the problem.. Southern Missouri is one thing Middle and Northern Missouri is a whole different state.

This.
If I were king, I'd just tell Clemson, Virginia Tech and Florida State to draw straws because one of them is getting drafted.
But it's all about the TV markets and whatever schools are willing to talk to us. So far, WVU and Mizzou appear to be our only options for team #14.

We want Missouri here is why..
We've played them 5 times in 100 years, no history.
We have more money, better recruiting base in-state and closer to Texas and the rest of the Southeast Talent.
They will have to recruit over Arkansas, LSU, Bama and Texas A&M instead of Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and OSU.
It's only making our road to Atlanta easier. Ah, crap I just realized they will be driving through Arkansas almost every direction to get to SEC stadiums.
