This year is a case of "careful what you wish for".
When I was in school from 89 to 94, the Wrecking Crew was in full effect. They were just spectacular. What the team was missing was an explosive offense. We never had that vertical passing attack.
Now, we've got a great offense, and just a horrid defense. Those who celebrate the new "wrecking crew" just have no idea what a destructive defense looks like.
Seeing both sides of the coin, I wish we had that Wrecking Crew back, and an offense that was merely capable of not screwing up.

THIS. Not to take anything from our opponents who beat us, but this Aggie team has ZERO killer instinct. We get a lead, get cute with playcalls, and the wheels come off time and again. I don't know why we can't play to win in the 2nd half instead of playing not to lose--it will bite you in the arse every time.
