Ummmm, I hate to break it to you but a big part of SEC dominance is due to winning 5 straight BCS titles, and 3 of those titles were won by teams running some version of the spread offense.
Maybe he should watch some of Florida's past games when they won the Title.
Spread offense.....

Clemson is NOT coming. G-Tech is not either. Sooner/Poke combo-nope.
They act like Florida State, GT, Clemson, VT etc are knocking down the door to join the SEC. Those teams might not want to go to the SEC. They have a better chance of winning the ACC and getting to a BCS game. Why join a harder conference and mess up your chances of winning a BCS Championship.

Exactly. Mizzou really is a great addition. They will be solid competition, but will not threaten the lsu/bama's of the conference.

Don't be surprised if Mizzou upsets a couple of SEC teams soon. Pinkel has done a fantastic job up there--that program is pretty solid.

hey...you don't have to tell me about mizzou beating an SEC team.

Yeah, Mizzou beat us pretty badly in that 2008 Cotton Bowl.
Of course we had no head coach, and half of a coaching staff that knew they were heading to Ole Miss after that game.
Its not like we tried to win. In fact, I can honestly say our coaches probably tried to lose.

Understand this:
1. The SEC member presidents & Slive absolutely want AAU schools as SEC members. It doesn't matter what "we fans" want. AAU membership is by invitation only & must have all AAU members approve any additions. Having more AAU members in the conference will hopefully lead to other SEC schools getting more consideration for membership. This is important because being an AAU member = more research money which is HUGE.
2. Texas will never go to the SEC because of academics & because of their LHN. UT will only go to the PAC 12 or Big 10. In addition, the SEC will not allow them to have their LHN in its current form. In summary, there is no reason to discuss UT any further.
