We have zero history with Missouri, They are 315 Miles away and much less talent than the State of Arkansas.

What are you basing this on? Certainly not recruiting rankings.

If this happens I will be doing back-flips. (Mizzou added, paired with arky, LSU-arky moved to earlier in season Fay/BR home/home, LSU-aTm Sat. night home/home after Thanksgiving, AU to east, Iron Bowl on Fri. afternoon).

That would change if you played all your home games in Fayetteville as opposed to Little Cock.

LSU fans would travel well to Fayetteville, I have no doubt. There are a lot of LSU fans running around NWA. The baseball series always shows how many LSU fans are in the area or willing to travel Fayetteville.

I wish we'd play y'all in Fayetteville next year.

TAMU and UCLA have always been the most underachieving programs of all time.

we were an all white, all male military school similar to The Citadel and VMI up until the 1960s.

considering we are in the top 20 for wins all time I'd say its a little ridiculous to call us all time underachievers.

I expect to see us add another OOC game with a DFW metro team. TCU is coming up on the schedule and maybe we'll throw in an SMU.

If we could get the return games in JerryWorld, we'd still bring more fans than either one of those.

I do agree we are benefitting from the conference footprint shifting west. I'd like to see A&M go home and home, because those closer road games would mean more visiting fans and a bigger stadium sooner.

We probably get the fewest visiting fans as it currently stands.

I've always said we should pick up TCU, SMU, Rice and Houston having more games in Texas than any other SEC school should be a priority.

I highly doubt the TAMU game gets moved for the Obvious reasons. Missouri will fill up the visitors section.. Ole Miss should be they are awful, MSU is in Little Rock and Bama or Auburn always fills up Fayetteville. I talked to so many Bama fans this past weekend who loved Fayetteville.

The word is spreading how great Fayetteville truly is now. It was fun when I was in school 10 years ago but it's nothing compared to now.

You know who would fill up RRS completely.. LSU, that's who. Shreveport is the closest to Fayetteville outside of Baton Rouge and TAMU.

I personally did not want the SEC to expand but now we need to look at the positives. Arkansas has more positives than any SEC school currently out of this ordeal.

Kentucky has the fewest visiting fans, to far, and they are always awful, no draw for big games. Vanderbilt, well the Visitors section could be larger than the home crowd. Remember there was almost no way to get to Fayetteville 12 year ago.. Little Ole 2 lane road and No airport.

Now 4 lane interstate and Large Mid-size airport that just expanded double it's size.

More recruits sign D-1 Scholarships from Arkansas than Missouri.

It's literally gotten to a point LSU needs to be moved. LSU fans are everywhere in Fayetteville.

Military schools fielded fantastic teams until the 1960's.

All time underachievers, yes. Oklahoma isn't in your state but took your talent and has triple the history.

If the SEC West is as discussed:

Center of Gravity would be very close to Dumas, AR.
The center of Minimum distance would be Grenada, MS

If the SEC West doesn't include Missouri but includes Auburn:

Center of Gravity: Yazoo City, MS
Center of Min. distance: Starkville, MS

Would love to settle for this (home/home) if UTa vs. aTm has to be Thanksgiving. 1/2 ain't bad.

Believe me when I tell you that if could have done it, it would already have happened.

I would bet that if you polled LSU fans, 90%+ would be in favor of a true home and home in this series.

No one, and I mean no one I know has a good thing to say about Little Rock. The comments remind me of what you used to hear when LSU used to play either Mississippi State or Ole Miss in Jackson, MS.

Both sides agree Fayetteville needs the LSU game. I'm just hoping everyone else at the Ark Bama game on Saturday saw how shitty WMS was compared to BDS and then remembered how Nice Fayetteville is compared to WMS.

Arkansas doesn't mind Bama in the beginning as I don't think LSU would mind TAMU to kick off SEC play.

That way Arkansas and LSU, Bama vs Auburn, TAMU vs Texas all stays the same for Thanksgiving weekend.

All fan bases are happy.

Y'all bring the most baseball fans to Baum, by far every other year we play y'all here.

If this conference shake up forces the LSU game to Fayetteville, I'll be more happy about it than I am right now.

I actually wouldn't mind a Mizzou to the East, with a permanent game vs them. They would be as compelling to watch most years as Carolina, and it would be an easy trip, whereas Columbia-East is a guaranteed flight if you are coming from Arkansas.

The more I look at that SEC map with missou, the more I don't like it. I think we either add FSU, which be a homerun, or really a grand slam. If not FSU or a NC school of some type if that fails then add another texas school. Rice would be great if you ask me. No thier selling point would not be football but academics and they good at non money making sports. Plus, you just head down I-10 and you get their to houston and college station for alot of sec west fans. Easier to travel too and major strong hold in texas in a major media market. JMO

Dumas, Ark is close to Little Rock so it will be a great thing for any SEC fan in Little Rock.

You don't like it? Look at the map and tell me which current SEC west member is the most screwed.

I would love to see FSU in, but I don't think it will happen.

When we add another school, I'd bet large that it will be from a new state. Missouri or Virginia would be top of my list.

WW2 pretty much wiped us out as a competitive program. The lack of women and anti military feelings during the 60s kicked us in the nuts as well.

Just how much better do you really think our history should be?
