Just got a boat slip in Aggieville

I just got a slip at a marina on a DFW area lake and there is an Aggie across from me, two more in two slips down from him and then three more scattered past them on both sides.
Can't wait to start building my Tiger/Louisiana Man-Cave in my slip! Should be fun! The Aggie boaters (and others) I've met all welcomed me to the marina and said there are a few other SEC guys in the same area. One boat owner said there was a Whorns guy in the slip I'm taking over who moved to another part of the Marina 'cause he was outnumbered and just generally didn't know how to have fun, anyway!
Anyway... these Aggies are in for a treat. Never underestimate the smack talking, no backing down, Tiger-Baiting, tailgaiting power of a Tiger protecting his little piece of marina heaven!

Maybe you should go to Abbeville. Less Aggies there

Naw... these guys all look like they know how to party. Up here, everyone improves their slip with decking, wet bars, refrigerators, satellite tv and LCD tv's, etc.. and throw parties. These guys had it going! I'm looking forward to some fun times with these guys!

Make sure to fly your LSU flag at all times, put as many stickers on your boat as it will hold, and constantly talk about how great the Tigahs are even during a completely different conversation. You'll fit in perfectly with the rest of the LSU fans in DFW.

Is it Lewisville by chance. We've got a slip there......

Sneaky Pete's is fun, but I'm at Pier 121. More money players there. At what it cost to put your boat in a slip, I damn sure better make some good social/business networking out of it.

Understand that totally, I did the same thing with back in the day with a lake house and my boat on the Tickfaw back in the Baton rouge. At this stage of life I don't have to worry about the business development side any more, just the relaxing part of the equation (LOL)

You spent all that $$ for a place to put a leaky pirogue?

Nice.
Wish Texoma was closer. Would like to be on that lake for the striper fishing. It's better to go out with the guys and a guide, though. Let somebody else's boat get coated in fish blood/slime. The wife appreciates that.
What's your boat and does she have a name?

Carry the flag Bubba - if you guys don't get some rain you're gonna be in dry dock. Lake Travis in Austin is down 50 feet - yes 50. Most marinas are mud bowls.
Good luck - have a little simpathy on the Aggies.
On second thought - NOT!

Yeah Texoma is a great place. Nothing fancy anymore, just a 24' party barge.
Talking about the fishing, friends here ask if I fish here; I jokingly tell them "no, because I catch back home" (grin). But I have had a couple of good trips to Bridgeport......

Funny part is when I had the place at Tickfaw, I had a party barge and a Formula. It was the party barge that we would take out into Lake Maurepas to run crab traps with and let it get "coated" with slime (smile).
Nowadays, the party barge rarely sees a fish; it's mostly for the kids and grand kids.
When I fish I go back home and go down to Bayou Dularge south of Houma where I grew up and the red fish and speckle trout are still great.
By the way I have made some great Aggie friends here and I think they will be great adds......

Mine's a Yamaha 24' jet boat. Haven't named it yet. The WAF on my name selections isn't the greatest. I like Jet themed since it's a jet boat, like "Jet Spot" or "Jet Dreams" or "Jet T-Shirt".
She likes drinking/sex themes like "NoBar Iz2Far", "Jamaican Bacon", "Aquaholic", "Nauti-Lust"... stuff like that.
Man.. I need to plan a fishing trip for some specs and reds. I miss that!

I like Nauti Lust, that sounds appropriate and like a lot of fun......which I have seen lot's of on Lewisville, particularly this past Fourth of July
