Our school has more money than you.
Please educate yourself, I can't believe the stupidity from arkansas fans on this board. No wonder the SEC doesn't like you.
I don't get arkansas...y'all make an "s" have a "w" sound. Truly amazing.
Our Athletic Department has more money than yours, look it up, that's exactly what we are talking about.
Oh, by the way did TAMU's athletic department payback the loan it borrowed from the University a few years back..?
That is truly PATHETIC.
LINK
"The department had less than a year before it was to begin repaying a $16 million loan arranged by previous A&M President Robert Gates and athletics director Bill Byrne. The loan gave the department four years to use university money to shore up budget shortfalls, "
"But the department was facing two more years of projected deficit spending, and finance officials expressed concern that something needed to be done, records show."

The fact you define your school on it's athletic department alone is quite the teller. Yes, you grossed more income, however, that isn't what our schools netted...I'm certain of that. We have a healthy and wealthy athletic department, and our University as a whole has wayyyyyyyy more wealth- far more than you're crappy college could conceive.
Everything about your state is "pathetic." As we like to say with baylor, you're still arkansas.

Hey Probie in Life.
I said our facilites are better than yours and backed it up. Our all time Records is way better than yours and our Fan Base Buys more Merchandise and Raises more money than yours. Guess what, big guy, there are 5 teams ahead of Arkansas in the same league, lol.
Your University has more wealth our Athletic Department has more wealth, fact. We are talking about Athletics here if you want to have a college debate on university wealth head to another board.
TAMU joining the SEC makes LSU and Arkansas
TAMU's Athletic department had to borrow money, from their own university, to pay shortfalls in deficit spending, ha ha.

Like I said check net gains, they're a whole different story. As far as facilities, you didn't prove anything besides that your basketball stadium has a higher seating capacity.
Posted on 8/27/11 at 3:38 pm to SunHog
Posting a bunch of pictures doesn't mean anything to people who haven't been there. All you did was show me what your stadiums look like, and that you have a basketball arena with a higher capacity than ours. Said basketball arena also seemed to have a lot of people dressed as empty seats, while ours was clearly packed. So there's that too.
Posted on 8/27/11 at 3:44 pm to CassiusClay
Hey Probie I know more than you do.
I've checked the net gains we have more. Google it.
Also that doesn't include the $6.5M raised after the season, of seating arrangements, which will be added to next year.

I've been to College Station, meh. Simple as that.
Arkansas didn't borrow a loan from it's own University to pay for deficit Athletic spending, ha. The other guy wants to talk about Net Gains after that, ha ha.
Arkansas facilities top to bottom are nicer in all sports.
Posted on 8/27/11 at 3:51 pm to Palooza11
Why would I be mad when we have literally 90% better than anything TAMU has and more money?
I'm very happy! I'll be even happier when you bring us, the SEC, to your back yard all over your Houston and Dallas Papers.. Arkansas this and that.

You should mention the whole borrowing thing some more, that isn't tired at all

As for this gem, you have to be on crack or retarded to say this, much less actually believe it. You're just trolling Ags I'm hoping, otherwise arkansas people are in far worse condition than I've feared.

Once again you're irrelevant, try to comprehend that. It means no one could care less about anything related to your school, especially athletics.

That's cool, I haven't been to Fayetteville. That was the point.

Have you toured our facilities in the last 2 or 3 years, therefore representing this as fact? Yours may be nicer, I have no idea. I know our facilities are pretty good and are continuously undergoing renovations.

This is going to be hard for you to understand and read, but try to follow-
USA Today's 22 self sufficient athletic departments
Interesting, there we are ahead of you and behind Florida, UGA, LSU and Alabama in covering our expenses and generating revenue. Also, it appears only us and LSU (out of the SEC related schools) didn't use "allocated funds" in that group, aka money allocated from the institution or the government.

Nobody tell Sun Hog that the money was loaned to the AD to start facility renovations immediately instead of waiting for private donations which is largely what all schools use for facilities upgrades.
It's a good thing our academic side will be twice as rich as any other schools in the SEC and can afford that. 5 billion dollar endowment. I'll let you go look up Arkansas' endowment and then be too embarrassed to post it here
Sun Hog, just another pigtard scared shitless of A&M joining the SEC. I get lovedrunk just thinking about the meltdown on the pigtard boards when A&M wins an SEC title before Arkansas with their 20 year head start
Seriously, can't the SEC jst kick Arkansas to CUSA and let A&M have their spot? No, 14th team needed

Article directly stated it was to control deficit spending of the Athletic program. Of course TAMU would be only school who needs to have a discussion of the sort.
TAMU $5.1B
Arkansas $1.6B
I hate to tell you but all that endowment money, which isn't with athletics, hasn't produced jack for TAMU.
20. Arkansas – $78.1 million; 22.0% growth (Not including the $6.5M of seat arrangements produced after the poll. (Puts us at #15)
27. Texas A&M – $71.8 million; 1.4% decline

It really must suck to be behind Arkansas in so many athletic categories.

It must really suck that Arkansas (at least in your mind) has such an inferiority complex that you go so out of your way with these posts. No big.

No, I just enjoy dick stamping arrogant college kids in the face, I used to be one, until I started paying real taxes, ha.
Plus, I work in Commercial Investments, which took me 5 mins to copy and paste into that response thread. I have a fantastic filling system.

I think winning in the SEC will depend more on our coaching staff than our recruiting. This year will tell a lot about Sherman and what he's about, there is no reason to believe he isn't the right man for the challenge.
It will depend upon having a competent coaching staff and smart recruiting...not to be confused with merely accumulating a lot of 4-5 star players, per se, like a lot of fans believe.

Your first two links were dead. And you responded to nothing in my post, which showed we were ahead of you for the 09-10 athletic year. It also showed you reallocated funds from the government or academic side to the athletic department, while we did not. You must be fricking terrible at your job.
Also, if you think us joining the SEC won't cause us to pull in more revenue, you are an idiot. Our numbers will only rise after we join.

Wow.. TD is like Hogville they disable links to scout.com and rivals.com links that contain the original source.
So much for those links I can private message you them if you'd like.. actually does TD even have that?
