I officially petition for the BIG 12 to consider SWAC schools for

expansion. Prairie View and Texas Southern are in the Houston market as well...
If the Big 12 needs two more teams why not consider these two?
If they want to tap into some of Louisiana's recruiting base, there's Grambling and Southern.
If they want to incorporate a battle of the bands halftime show, hell it won't get any better than adding Grambling, Southern, and Jackson State to the conference roster. I promise you that when halftime approaches the stands will definately be packed. Before and after that is a bit "iffy"
I'm sure the afirmative action laws in place can help the little boys get a seat at the big table

I suggest they recruit the Southern and Prarie View bands.
Each has more punch to them than the Iowa State football team.
