I like TAMU

An above average Football program, plenty of tradition but not a jugernaut (sp?). TAMU, BAMA, Auburn, Florida all on the schedule every year... I like. That would give us more recruiting in roads in Texas (more kids wanting to play in SEC). Then go after another non-SEC state... which is why I also like VaTech.

Yeah I think A&M and Va. Tech is the way to go. It fits the new TV markets theme, and while they aren't truly elite they'll give the conference two more solid programs.

A&M gives us another rival...VT doesn't do much for me...I had fun playing them in recent years, but I want Oklahoma...very good all around sports program.

I don't really care for A&M. I know there is a past but I dunno I would get more excited for other teams.

You can't go wrong by adding the Texas and Virginia markets. Houston specifically has the most TAMU fans and it's where LSU's second largest alumni base resides. Northern Virginia is growing a lot too. Adds a lot of new SEC fans.

They do have a great, tightly-knit fanbase and I gotta sympathize with any team trying to escape the rule of austin.

I'm just going by the assumption that Oklahoma isn't coming. If they are willing then I'd be more than happy with them and A&M.
