So I might be late or early depending on how you guys see it but welcome to the SEC. I would even go so far as to say one day I look forward to them winning it all in the SEC only to face the Whorns for all the marbles. I think that day would have the SEC united behind an TAMU team.

Outfreakinstanding post. You have summed up the kinship that we seek in the SEC! We are loyal and honestly have felt out of place in the b12 since its inception (I know I have).

Here's to the future!

I think naturally we just have a lot more in common with A&M than any of the other Big 12 schools.

The only issue I have with A&M joining the conference is the distance between Columbia and College Station, damn that is going to be a long trip.

It will be interesting to see how long the honeymoon lasts. A&M knows the way things work in the SEC before they ever joined but soon they will be complaining about everything.

Everything A&M is upset about in the Big 12 are things that they voted for to occur. Unequal rev sharing, schools controlling their 3rd tier rights, everything......aggies want to hold someone else accountable for their massive failures. Soon, it will be the fault of every other SEC team that aggie has only won one national title in the 30s and hasn't had a top 5 finish in over a half century.

Bitch, bitch, bitch.......it is all they do.......

Go replace your tampon, Drunkystain, the men are talking here.

Fort Worth Star Telegraph on A&M, OU, and UT

quote:

No power play involved at all with A&M. No negotiating, no far-end-of-the-bar deals over beers with DeLoss, and no threats.

The Aggies knew they didn't want to be tied to Texas any longer, knew they were wanted elsewhere, and without a flexed biceps, or even harsh words, they said bye-bye to Texas University, so long to the orange and white.

Lesson learned this week by Oklahoma:

Have an option before you have threats. And don't jack around for two weeks with your decision, giving idle chatter that it might be, it could be a move elsewhere, or maybe not. Not if UT changes its Longhorn Network monopoly, and also if DeLoss' puppet is fired.

While I admittedly have not spent much time obsessing with or paying much attention over the year to the Aggie, the Horns, or anyone in the Big 12 or the drama going on within the conference to know the ins and outs of all this, I can honestly say that if I were an Aggie, I wouldn't care too much for Texas controlling everything within the conference either, or the unequal revenue sharing, or elitist attitudes of the Horns in general. I don't know any group of fans that would just want to take it the way Texas expects other schools to take it. It's arrogance at it's worst. Truthfully, I am beginning to think that Texas is worse than Notre Dame when it comes to entitlement.

I for one look forward to trips every 6 years to College Station! Welcome aboard!

With A&M we are close to having the market cornered on Maroon, Crimson, Garnet. All we need is FSU and VT and we would really dominate that market!

If everything you say is true, then you should be glad they are leaving the Big 12. You should be talking them up to make sure that the SEC will not rescind their invitation. That there are so much angst among Big 12 schools about Texas A&M leaving tells us that the SEC has just snatch one of the crown jewel of the Big 12.

remember, a longwhorn fan is over at an LSU/SEC website talking trash about the Ags, what a horrible decision they're making, how he is glad they won't be playing us anymore etc.

It's kind of creepy when you actually sit and think about it...not joking.

So do we have to start wearing sleeveless shirts to games and get inked up on our upper arms? Is that an SEC thing or just a Florida thing?

Get used to the idea. They will be, and they'll be a damn good addition to the conference.

I know your kind. You shoot off your mouth without benefit of knowing shite about the subject.

Bill from DC's Agsession has been noted many times over.

Get over it, Drunk. I bet you're one of this guys that claims A&M isn't a rival yet you can't help but bash us at any chance.

And Dr. Loftin has always been against unequal revenue sharing. That's a fact
