I'm not sure of any other SEC schools that lower their standards to allow a particular group of individuals to attain an accredited degrree. I'm afraid this would have the effect of watering down degrees from other SEC member institutions.
But just for fun...
You're right. It seems Ivy League schools have watered down degrees for allowing lower standards for legacies

Generally speaking, their legacies went to superb schools (Phillips Exeter Academy, Phillips Academy Andover, The Winsor School, etc.) and their tests scores were still in the top quarter of the country.

oh, no doubt. But there is still someone more deserving that is getting left out to make room for the legacy.
A&M did away with legacy points about 10 years ago. I wish they hadn't. And I'm in the minority in that opinion by far. But if two students are completely equal, I would give the tie break to the legacy

It's going to be awesome when TAMU is in the SEC and goes back and kicks the shite outta tu, and any of these other Texas schools

As far as recruiting Texas, it should get real interesting especially if the Pac-16 comes about. Not only more SEC exposure in Texas, but USC, Oregon, Stanford, etc.. Fascinating stuff.
things could change for sure - but make the assumption the PAC expands to 16 (OU, Ok St, 2 Texas schools?) - and A&M goes to the SEC
The majority of the kids are still going to be looking at the same schools IMO - because mostly kids will still be interested in playing where their family has some possibility to traveling to see them play.

Is it? Or is it going to be another embarrassment when they get the shite kicked out of them which is much more likely.
I loved the OU 77-0 when aggy never crossed mid field on offense. It will be worse next time.

A Little Video on SEC, A&M Plays
That was pretty sweet, especially the first 60 seconds.
