Funnier still when you add the fact that they actually think they're a decent team that is on their way back to the Petrino days.

A big chunk of Tceh alumni work the registers at the same store, so it makes sense.

I think Baylor has used Groupon and worse. They literally had hundreds of tickets available on Stubhub for $1-2 this season in the game AFTER they beat TCU. The Big 12 is quickly becoming an absolute joke. If Mizzou leaves then the largest stadium outside of Texas and OU will be 62k, TCU only has 43k and have just recently approached selling it out. Several teams have season ticket packages for $100 or less. Here is a promo Tech has going for a matchup against Top 20 K State:

quote:

The four-pack ticket option ($90) will also include a free parking pass and four complimentary tickets to the Red Raider Club pre-game meal in the Athletics Training Center (begins at 3 p.m.). The parking pass and meal vouchers will be redeemed at the R-13 parking lot from a Red Raider Club staff member beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. To access the R-13 lot, please enter from University and 15th. The R-13 parking lot will be on your right, prior to reaching the Student Union Building/Akron Ave.

So that's 4 tickets, 4 meals, a parking pass, and access to the Red Raider Club for $90. For comparison my A&M/Texas tickets in the End Zone of Kyle are currently running over $1000 on Stubhub.

Kansas groupon special

Baylor had some $25 season ticket passes back in July. Baylor is one of the few colleges where the locals despise the college. It may have something to do with Baylor outreach programs that only repairs and paints the houses on the street to the football stadium.

I lived in that dump of a town called Waco. I know Robert Flores of ESPN from his time at the local CBS station in Waco. He couldn't wait to move on.

For $20 you got one ticket with the Kansas Groupon, with the Louisville Groupon it gets you 4.

I had to pay $7 for a high school football game last week.
