If the sec only adds 14 teams that being mizzou and ATM then bama and auburn will most definitely move the east.

Do the math. If it happened the way you say, with only Mizzou and TAM added, only ONE team would need to move to the east. 14/2=7 in each division. Your way would have 8 teams in the east and 6 teams in the west.

let's have some fun:

8 game 7 div 1 perm rival

Bama goes undefeated

LSU has one loss to Bama

Bama plays a two loss FSU in SECCG and loses

LSU in NCG

boom@!!!!!!

I could see this playing out all the time....the SEC will be stronger and tougher yes....do you think that the media won't know that? shite this makes the SEC even stronger

Eh, I dont see this happening personally. If you cant win your conference, they arent gonna vote you into a NC game.

2003 Oklahoma says hi. They got blown out in their conference championship game to the tune of 35-7 and made it into the big dance.

Right, but in Stapuff's scenario, Bama would be in the same position OU was. A 1 loss Bama that won its division and beat LSU would likely get the nod, just as OU did.

I say 2 conference sides but have a 4 team division in each. Like this:

West:
Division 1:
Lsu
Arky
A&M
Missouri

Division 2:
Ole miss
State
Auburn
Bama

East:
Division 1:
Florida
Florida State
Georgia
Tennessee

Division 2:
Vandy
Uk
Clemson
Usc

Now for scheduling I say you play your divisional teams so that's 3 games then you play 2 teams from each division so that's 6 more. For a total of 9 conference games.

So that way you don't go like 8 years without playing a team from the other division.

Ya'lls thoughts?

And if it's already been said shoot me I don't care...

depends

take all the names out

team a loses in ccg

team b lost to team a in reg season

team c beats team a in SECCG but lost to team b in reg season

and then team b goes since they only had one loss in nations toughest (by far) conference

wouldn't team A also only have one loss though? I thought in your scenario, Bama went into the SECCG unbeaten?

right with that loss coming to UF (for instance) while team b had beaten UF in reg season

the debate and discussion on who goes would be incredible and IMO the SEC is the real winner in all this
