2 or 4 new SEC Football Divisions with16 teams counting 2 teams from the Big 12-3 seems LSU would lose Bama and Auburn in the same division. if we keep an out of conference regular team I hope it's Bama instead of Florida. would't that make the most sense?

that makes sense for 2 divisions. I'm not so sure if 4 divisions are structured.

The only way that Bama and Auburn get sent to the East is four teams from the Big XII were to come.

If this is the way it breaks down - Georgia nor Tennessee will ever win the East Again.

How is it any different than now? When Georgia is on they are just as good as Clemson and FSU, so how does their addition take away from that?

God I wish Auburn was in the east. Travel to those teams for away games would be much easier. Traveling to Arkansas, Tx A&M, and Missouri for games would suck. Distance would be tough.

Balance yes, but unfortunately FSU and Clemson bring little or no additional tv revenue to the table.

I'm not a fan of either school, but never say never.

Just don't see the point if this is how the schedule will be. Basically some teams will never play other teams in the same conference. For instance if LSU doesn't get perm rival with Vandy or Kentucky they may go decades without playing them since the only chance is in the SECCG.

Hard to claim conference strength when you don't play near half the teams.

If the sec only adds 14 teams that being mizzou and ATM then bama and auburn will most definitely move the east.

I dont like playing 8 conference games, hell you would never play the teams in the other dicvision unlesss they were permanent rival or in championship , there needs to be some type of rotation

Exactly...this is what I've been saying. Essentially, this would be two separate conferences with a playoff between them to determine the BCS auto bid. I think 14 teams would be the best format for scheduling. You could go 6 div, 1 perm non div, 1 rotator non div. Still a long time between meetings (twice every 12 years, but at least you do play from time to time.
