You're probably right there, but with A&M selling playing in the SEC to kids, plus their home schedule bringing SEC teams into Texas for exposure, I just don't see the big gain for us. I don't know jack, and hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it.

You make it sound like those recruits were off limits to us previously. We have been selling the SEC to kids in Texas for 20 years now, yet our highest % class in the last 3 was 25%. Now aTm and MO? are selling SEC, and you are going to have LSU, Bama, Auburn and the rest of the SEC playing games yearly in College Station.

Frank Broyles said Arkansas donations increase 15% by the Dallas and Houston Alumni basis bringing them back into the action again.

He also said our athletics will increase 15% over all, with recruiting and winning by the exposure in Texas.

If you don't take my math take his word for it.

You can only sign 25!

It doesn't matter who is selling proximity matters. It's the reason all the Southern Teams for history of college football are the best programs of all time.

They are around the talent pools.

Example: Kid grows up in Houston, 4* star gets offers from LSU, Arkansas, OSU, OU, Texas Tech and TAMU. He has never seen a game in Arkansas or grew up anywhere Arkansas was in the papers or on TV 24/7. He is most likely won't sign with Arkansas because he knows nothing about it. In the 70's and 80's Arkansas had all conference lineman from Houston because kids in Texas grew up knowing about Arkansas.

This will completely change and now that same kid is more likely to check out Arkansas because we play against TAMU on regular basis. Not to mention when Missouri is selling a kid from Texas... Arkansas simply says check us out we are 315 Miles closer to your mom and dad than Missouri. Not to mention our Home games in Little Rock and Fayetteville are much closer to watch than Missouri.

Flip Side.. Any good talent that comes out of Missouri, Arkansas has the first shot at other than Missouri.

Why travel 772 Miles from Columbia to play at LSU when you can play at Arkansas 315 Miles away?

Arkansas literally has every state around us in the SEC and Oklahoma kids to sell the SEC to them. Very large win for us.

Arkansas will finally to get see how it feels to have all your states around you in the SEC minus Oklahoma.

Green Dot will be the Geographic Center of the West minus Auburn.

As for Knile.. Gosh we miss him this year but he will be back and healthy next year.

Also whats funny is the amount of national titles A&M and UT have combined. I think in all it's 4. That's pathetic with the amount of talent that comes out of Texas.

Isn't that the truth.

We just let our recruits pick any starting year to see our domination over TAMU since 1910.

Especially before scholarship limits hit the scene. Complete underachieving. Not to mention TAMU should've been better with all their military discipline.

Army and Navy didn't have a problem back then.

Yeah, Darren McFadden and Peyton Hills are awful in the NFL. Oh, you want to stick strictly to college, Matt Jones was another horrible player from Arkansas.

Kids from Arkansas at other schools. Dyer is just a crappy running back also.

Elite players come from everywhere it doesn't matter what state. You just have a bigger chance of those kids coming from a densely populated state.
