They aren't suing anyone. They are claiming this is false information from everyone all around, with all of it being originated from Chip Brown.

Chip Brown needs to have a face to face with Tusk. That douche bag is the biggest fail of a piece of shite in Texas.

This is the reason twitter needs to vanish. frickers like him who want to make a name for themselves, who don't know anymore than I do.

ETA: Baylor has to do something to save face at this point, though.

what better way than calling out that horn douche

I think DeLoss is ghosting his cell phone number, calling Chip and masking his voice

In the truth of the matter, I cant imagine a Baptist run university suing anyone. Wasnt it a group of Baptists that started Christian Conciliatory REsolution otherwise known as CCR. I know that I went to Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson MS which is a Baptist owned college and I just dont see Baylor suing so I would sap the OP is 100 percent correct.

They're Baptists. First thing they'll try to do is break away and start their own conference.

It's funny that everything seems to come back to Texas. They really don't want this shite to go down. They had their comfy little sandbox and now their own greed has blown it up.

only because they're not in control. Texas has no problem with realignment as long as they are pulling all the strings.

It's when the A&M's and Baylor's go off and do things without UT's permission that gets them all fired up

It was a great tactic by the SEC to make public that aTm was admitted conditioned upon a release by "an individual university." Baylor was simply bluffing to try to buy time to figure out this mess. The SEC made their bluff public which made Baylor look like a crying boyfriend who got dumped. Now Baylor will act strong and give the "all is well" speech.

I think there would have to have been more validity to the situation than just Chip Brown for the spokeman for the SEC presidents to mention it - although he didn't call BU by name. One of the 9 Big XII schools had to raise a stink, so unless it was UT and Brown tossed out Baylor to cover Bevobutt...

Its not Texas. Texas was the first one that realized that they need to move on and act quickly to replace A&M. Pretty much everyone is trying to move forward, yet Ken Starr and his BaylorBold bullshite are the ones holding out.

Just because you have a Twitter account, doesn't make you a legitimate journalist worthy of all this bullshite.

It seems Baylor (or whoever if it isn't Baylor, god forbid it's Texas but I don't think it is) can be a bit duplicitous - sure, they can say they're not suing anyone but merely refuse to sign a release of any future legal claim. And that is what the SEC is asking - it's semantics but that is often critical in all this legal wrangling.
