A&M President Loftin just interviewed during halftime of PPV game

He baisically said that A&M will be moving to the SEC "everything is going to fall into place nicely in the next several days"
Also women's basketball coach and the AD both mentioned the SEC in interviews during the first half.

It scares me how many people know about that small town. There's numerous people in our department that have been there....hell, my adviser from Illinois/north carolina has spent time there. wtf

There was a thread on texags about the announcement date. The poster said Loftin hinted to him that Monday is the day and of course, everyone told him to GTFO. Then he posted a legit pic of him with Loftin to back up his story. Looks like Monday should be fun with all the conference realignment announcements and meetings.

FWIW... I just got back to Houston from College Station, personally heard Loftin while standing not three feet from him say this evening "everything is falling into place, I'll certainly be glad this will all be done in a couple of days. When this all works out for us the way we wanted, we can all go back to focusing on the fun stuff, football.". The rest of the conversation was all joking around with people in the box I was in.
