Finebaum Network Bowden told me UF 2 blame 4 keeping FSU out of SEC as 14. Apparently Gator Nation can't handle Jimbo beating their brains out in recruiting.

It will suck not having UA/UT every year. I know money is king in cfb nowadays, but I never thought UGA/AU and UA/UT would be split up.

To quote Me-Shawn Johnson: "C'mon MAN!" You know this expansion has nothing to do with enhancing the product on the field/court, or geographic/cultural "fit." It's all about the television markets and acquiring the ammo for the next negotiations with espIn/CBS/Raycom.
With eATMe, you get Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, without having to hold your noses and tolerate the evil orange empire.
With Misery, you get KC and St Louis televisions.
Adding F$U gets you nothing you don't already have. Plus, the days of F$U's relevance are long gone. Witness the two-game losing streak currently visited upon their "best" team in years, including one to a very mediocre ClemPsun team.
As a SWC refugee, I can say the idea of getting back together with eATMe has all of the appeal of a reunion of the Duke brothers of Hazzard County. And I'm not talking about reuniting Bo and Luke. No, I am saying it has the appeal of a Coy and Vance reunion. Ags are weird. They don't have cheerleaders. College Station is a shithole. Beating them is hardly a feather in one's cap, and losing to them is akin to losing to Miss. St (not as bad as losing to Ole Miss, but they wear maroon and still long for Jackie Sherrill). That said, though, I tip my cap and applaud the fine (yet weird) folks at eATMe for growing a pair and finally telling utex to go eff themselves.

Well, the piggies get the second attempted built-in rivalry.... this time with Mizzou instead of LSU. LSU and A&M become the primary SEC rivalry target of each other, according to the head office.
Auburn moves East.
Only obvious casualty is Bama-Tenn yearly games.
A random stab at the permanent-other-division games:
LSU: Florida
Bama: Auburn
Ark: USC
Ole Mess: VU
MSU: UK?
Mizzou: Tenn?
A&M: UGA?
