You really think a coach who's currently competing to win their conference will announce

Their departure? Let alone competing for playoffs/national championship
I wouldn't want a coach that is willing to allow those distractions
Remember Miles to Michigan?
I don't believe we will know anything until after the regular season at a minimum

I would hope our next coach can walk and chew gum at the same time
It’s not like anyone’s on the phone with Woody in the middle of Tuesday’s practice

Great Lou Holtz interview in link about how he was the leading candidate to replace Woody Hayes at OSU, but that he refused to interview for the job.
Basically told OSU that they already know everything there is to know about him (Ohio guy and former OSU Assistant) and that if offered the job he would most likely take it, but that it would be disrespectful to Arkansas to interview.

I agree, but we are living in a clown world and see weird shite everyday, like a college firing a coach after the season but announcing it mid season.
