If Miles chooses to stay, we should all collectively get off his nads. Let me give you an example:
Suppose, if somehow the people on this board became successful coaches and turned around a program that was once successful but has seen better days, say Clemson or something similar. You might not have brought them a national championship yet, but you now have maintained the Clemson program to a 11 win, elite program. However, your beloved LSU calls and wants you to be coach. Do you leave Clemson, where you worked your tail-off, where you have seen the most success? Or do you go to where your heart lies? Clemson’s fight song, traditions, etc doesn’t give you chills, LSU’s does. 99.9% would go to Baton Rouge without the slightest hesitation. IT IS LSU FOOTBALL, our life, our dreams. And most of us never took a snap in purple in gold. For a man to go against that, in my book becomes officially a Louisianan. To buy into our State, our culture, and our Team; while turning his back to his, makes him our coach forever.
