who cares about this year if we can land a top flight guy. everyone knows next year is theyear in louisiana high school football

I would like to wait it out for Del Rio but I don't see our search committee doing it. If they do they will have to have some kind of guarantee he's coming. I think he is worth waiting for...this is a filler class this year. The 07 class and the 09 class will be the two that will sustain us.

In the long run, one year of mediocre recruiting won't kill a program. If Del Rio is the department's guy, he'll get hired.

Almost every kid from the last class took a red shirt... that class hasn't hit the field yet.

Where is the first place an LSU football player wants to go after his days are over at LSU?



THE PRO's.........JDR can get them there. If and its a big if, LSU could get him, you take him and never look back. I know hes never coached in College, but the guy has been around and knows people. Very well respected in the coaching profession.

Trivia: What player took over his LB spot and kind of moved him into retirement from the Dolphins?
